The EASY and FREE way for us to support the school!
When you buy Scrip from the school, you are actually buying gift cards at face value for the shopping you
already do. We all buy groceries, go to the movies, eat at restaurants, rent DVDs, etc. Now you can just
buy the cards (Scrip) ahead of time to do that very same spending, and CHKP earns 5-40%! It costs you
nothing extra; all it takes is a little planning…
Here’s how it works:
- Fill out the green Scrip Order Form (it will arrive in your child’s cubby or is available in the Scrip
bulletin board pouch). You can also simply download the current Scrip Order Form (PDF) here and print it out;
it works just like the order forms from school.
OR ask a Scrip team member what “stock”* Scrip is available. - Orders and payment by check are due on the dates indicated on the back of the form (typically the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month). Note the distribution date that corresponds with the order date for your order period.
- Staple your check to the completed order form and drop it in the Tuition Box.
- You will receive your Scrip approx. 10 days after the order due date (see distribution date). Treat Scrip as you would cash. Keep it in a safe place. Also, please always double-check your order/payment for accuracy.
*“Stock” Scrip is often available, too. Ask a Scrip team member what stock Scrip is on hand – we regularly carry Scrip
for the main grocery stores, Starbucks, etc. During the holiday season and special occasions, a wider variety of Scrip
may be available. Don’t forget to bring your checkbook (or cash) for stock Scrip!
